Welcome to Progressives SL, a platform established by the Institute for Community Progress to advocate for electoral integrity, human rights, and social justice in Sierra Leone and beyond. These Publication Terms and Conditions govern your use of our website and your engagement with the content published herein. By accessing or using this site, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you disagree, please refrain from using the site.

 

1. Purpose of Publications

The content published on Progressives SL is intended solely for public education, advocacy, and sensitisation on issues of:

• Electoral transparency and reform
• Human rights protection and promotion
• Social justice and civic empowerment

All publications represent the perspectives and objectives of the Institute for Community Progress and are designed to promote democratic discourse in Sierra Leone, Africa, and globally.

 

2. User Engagement and Comments

We welcome community dialogue through the comments feature on selected publications. By participating:

• You agree not to post any content that is defamatory, abusive, discriminatory, or in violation of any applicable laws.
• All comments may be moderated, edited, or removed at our sole discretion.
• User comments do not reflect the views of Progressives SL or the Institute for Community Progress.

6. Fundraising and Future Monetisation

While currently free of commercial content, Progressives SL may, in the future:

• Host fundraising campaigns to support our advocacy work
• Display partner or institutional sponsorship acknowledgements
• Implement donation tools under our ethical funding guidelines

7. Jurisdiction and Governing Law

The laws of Sierra Leone govern these Terms and Conditions. We also endeavour to uphold global standards of digital responsibility and freedom of expression, as recognised in relevant international human rights frameworks.

 

8. Consistency With Institute Policies

These terms are complementary to the Institute for Community Progress’ Terms and Conditions. In the event of overlap or conflict, the Institute’s core policies shall take precedence.
