Each advocacy sector at the Institute for Community Progress is strategically anchored in the conviction that sustainable development is attainable only through the empowerment of communities and the establishment of accountable and responsive governance structures.

In pursuit of this mandate, ICP collaborates with citizens, civil society organizations, and institutional partners to advance a just, inclusive, and democratic Sierra Leone.

We envision a democratic, just, and inclusive Sierra Leone where all citizens actively participate in governance, enjoy social equity, and contribute to sustainable national progress.

We engage democratic institutions and persons  and cooperate to co-create sustainable solutions with communities and stakeholders that address Sierra Leone’s social, economic, cultural, and institutional challenges. We focus on strengthening electoral integrity, promoting social justice, and enhancing citizen engagement in governance and development.

We are concerned and engaged with actions and initiatives to :
